Some societies would view light skin mixed people to be black, where others might view them as being somewhat white. Where ethnicity is based on a shared cultural identity, and can be accepted or rejected by an individual in a group. Much more interested in culture, rather than looks. 2) What is the difference between prejudice and discrimination? a. Prejudice is a when someone judges someone on behalf of their looks, can be in a positive or in a negative way, much related to what we often to with stereotypes. Can be described by when a person calls someone a dumb blonde, a dirty Mexican and so fourth. So the difference between prejudice and discrimination is that prejudice is formed by words, where discrimination is an act of unfairness towards a certain group, such as not allowing black people to sit in the front of the bus.
