R. Madison Haynie 09/13/06 PUP 200 The Influence of Families In the film Children of Heaven there are two important planning issues that come to our attention. The first is the family ties and social networking, and the second is the isolation among family members. Family is a very important issue in everyone’s life. It affects their behaviors, choices, and even their living arrangements. Since family plays such a vital role, it is essential that they are included in the process of planning a city or neighborhood. Often our families are the glue that holds us together, as a person or a community. They provide for us, carry us, and love us. The first issue is the bonds we have with our families and how we network with others. Families and friends in this film have taken many of the roles that we would export to professionals or other individuals. We see examples of families taking care of each other when they are sick, and providing necessities such as food. The family’s economic status creates a lot of tension within the family and the hardships they strive
