Peer: Windy Castro Reviewer: Siobhan Frantz Summary of Research I thought that the title was on point for what the study was about. In her study Windy had five people keep track of how much time they spent using social media as well as interacting with people face to face. Her subjects ranged from the age of 25 to 50, worked full time and had a household of two or more people. She talked about how she thought that social media tends to be more time consuming and takes away from people's abilities to have actual relationships rather than relationships online. Windy talked about the how people are starting to care more about their online relationships rather than their relationships with real people. She also talked about how these online relationships can be fake and how some people get so consumed by these relationships with people they don’t even know. I think it’s very interesting that people can get so involved with somebody they haven't met in real life. No matter how much time I spend on social media, I know I still need face to face interaction. She also talked about how
