Amanda Sparling Korpi-Essay While reading through the case information, and looking into the situation surrounding Clean Flicks I have been trying to form an opinion on the issue. There are so many different factors that are present on each side that it is really hard for me to choose one. It seems that Clean Flicks is indeed changing quite a bit about the movies that it edits through its process, and by editing are completely reshaping how the movie and the actors are viewed. The article presented many convincing arguments for this side. One argument that stuck out in my mind, argued that taking violence, sex, and language out of certain movies would take the movie- out of that movie. It completely changes the plot, ideas, and goal of the movie. Much of the content that the people are editing are crucial to the movie, and therefore should not be allowed to be edited for redistribution. However, on the other side of the argument one could see that editing is a practice that takes place in many various situations. Movies are constantly edited for time, when
