Strategy:  o Introduce a term, define it. o Any area where support is thin: use index from class textbooks. 1. Compare and contrast the five models of constitutional interpretation that  developed in the years preceding the federal Constitution and in the era  following its creation. Be sure to discuss these models with respect to  interpretation at  both  the state and federal levels. Provide at least  two  examples on the workings of each model. Should constitutional disputes be  limited to judicial answers? Do you believe that a “political” interpretation of  the Constitution is more viable to the workings of American politics today than  a “legal” interpretation? Take a position and defend it.
