Yuting Fu Suzanne Markham Bagnera HF231 A2 September 13, 2016 Case 2 1. Warning signs/red flags. Often, evidence indicating a bad apple is right on the application or the resume. Review the applications on the following pages for any items that don’t make sense or leave you with an uneasy feeling. The first applicant, Mary Smith, started her career at Hotel Park, Philadelphia as a front desk agent. And then she worked at Hotel Victoria as a front office supervisor for four months. Then she went to Hotel Empire and worked as an assistant front office manager for 3 months. This is a too big of jump from an agent to assistant manager in 2 years. Her resume shows that she had a good experience but a little commitment to any hotels that she had worked for. John Brown, the second applicant, majored in anthropology and geography. It seems to me that he has no education background related to hospitality. So there is the red flag.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
