1.0 Company ProfileKawan Food Berhad (“KFB”’) is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. KFBis a public listed company and its base locates in Shah Alam, Selangor. KFB isMalaysia’s leading exporter and largest manufacturer of frozen Asian food delicacies,with factories in Shah Alam, Malaysia and Nantong, China. In Bursa Malaysia, KFBfalls in the Main Market under Consumer Products, with stock code 7216.Currently, KFB has four wholly-owned subsidiaries, which are Kawan FoodManufacturing Sdn Bhd, KG Pastry Marketing Sdn Bhd, Kawan Food ConfectionerySdn Bhd, and Kawan Food (Hong Kong) Limited. Meanwhile, KFB have indirectsubsidiaries which are Hot& Go Management Sdn Bhd and Kawan Food (Nantong)Co Ltd. All the subsidiaries are engaged in the manufacturing, sale, trading anddistribution of frozen food products.KFB and the group of companies hold several brands, which are Kawan, KG Pastry,Passion Bake and Veat. Other than local market, the current export markets of KFBare Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Korea,Japan, Australia, New Zealand, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Germany,France, Holland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Canada, United States of America, etc.
