Leadership Analysis
Introduction
1. Power
There are different kind of leaders that hold power, some use it to bring positive
impact. Others, not so much.
2. This paper contrasts two very different leaders: Arianna Huffington and Charles
Conaway.
3. Thesis statement: Effective and successful leadership will help the entire company
grow and in comparison, the ineffective and unsuccessful leadership can bring the
entire organization down.
The Leaders

Arianna Huffington is effective and very successful. She is the founder and CEO of
Huffington Post and Thrive Global. Her name was in the Time’s Magazine’s list of
the worlds 100 most influential people as well as Forbes Most Powerful Women list.
Huffington published several books among which are The Sleep Revolution and
Thrive. She is a board member of several organizations including Uber and The
Center for Public Integrity. Huffington Post is a news and blog site with a Pulitzer
