Mechanisms a. Understand the nature of electron distribution within covalent bonds to carbon i. Use δ + and δ - notation to indicate this distribution b. Understand how resonance and induction can affect and define the reactivity of particular functional groups c. Nuts and bolts of acid-base reaction mechanisms
