Reed 1 Jesse Reed Kimberly Jones ENG 226 21 March 2016 Outline for EA1 Part 2 Attention Grabber: There is a problem that is very pressing facing america, the outcome of this argument can save lives. The argument is stem cell research. Stem cell research is the research of cells that have no specific purpose. There are people who say the Federal Government should cut funding for all forms stem cell research. Thesis Statement: All forms of stem cell research of all forms should be funded by the Government and here’s why. Support points: Not all stem cell research involves embryos, Cancer cells are stem cells, embryos aren’t human, we allow abortion in the U.S. in certain states. Paragraph one: Not all stem cells are taken from embryo’s and this could even end testing on animals. (Insert quote)- Stem cells are taken from adults as well (insert quote about animal testing not being necessary if stem cell research is allowed)- explain - Explain that not all stem cell research is bad research.
