Book Chat- Character Analysis: So, I’ll be doing the character analysis/ development for this section. Now before I start, did anyone notice a big change or even a small one in any of the characters in this section, so either Julia or Winston? So looking into Julia before this section: We knew that she was the girl who Winston had fantasized about and that was really it, her character wasn’t really touched upon until this section Julia’s character starts to get introduced towards the end of part one. Towards the end of part one she is known as the girl who Winston wants to kill because he thinks she is a spy, who is spying on him. So our first actual impression on Julia is that she is a spy who wants to arrest Winston for breaking thought crimes. But in the start of part 2 of the book, we get a totally different perspective of Julia after she gives him the I love you note. So Julia goes from the character that Winston wants to kill, to the character that Winston has feelings for and wants to love. Does anyone have a reason why Winston perspective on Julia
