Psych.- Written Assignment #1 Hey Dad, Thanks for the Swimming Lessons! Global warming is one issue in today’s world that society needs to bring more attention. The temperature of the earth has risen exponentially over the past 150 years, and there is no indication that it plans on slowing down or cooling off. Currently about seventy percent of the world is covered with water; that leaves only a mere thirty percent to land. Taking into consideration that temperature will continue to rise, the glaciers will begin to melt. The melted glaciers will overtake the land, covering it with water. Since our land is already over populated with humans, there will be no where for our ancestors to go once the proportion of water to land increases. There will be no choice but to live in the water. 100,000 years from now, the earth will be close to being fully covered with water, and of course, the animals and creatures that wish to survive will have to adapt. In order to cope with this change, humans will have to become excellent swimmers. In a few
