Potential issues caused by generation gaps:
Respect for one's elder family members has undergone a transformation in the last few
years. If you have older parents, then it is more than likely you are going to have a bigger
impact when it comes to generation gaps. For an example, If you are 50 which a child
that is 16 years old, you are more than likely going to get in more fights etc.; Just because
you have a bigger generation gaps.
Technology gap is a big one when it comes to generations. Children are now playing with
video games instead of writing letters. Writing letters is something that the older
generation would be doing instead of the obvious playing video games etc. Your
grandparents are more than likely going to get upset if you have a cell phone at the dinner
table. Also, social media is a big one. Older generations don’t really understand what it
means by facebook, twitter or instagram etc.
Privacy seems to no longer have meaning to
the younger generation. So, the issue here would be the invention of all this new
