In order to reduce the cost of healthcare, federal, state, and local agencies need to come together and figure out a solution. There are numerous ways that state and local agencies can work with healthcare organizations to create a coalition between primary care and public health. One way is for state and local agencies to work directly with healthcare organizations. State and local agencies have leverage to create policies that will provide benefits for individualsbased on primary care and public health benefits [Pri]. Healthcare organizations can create and implement policies after collaboration with state and local agencies where the healthcare organizations can recommend the facility to obtain the state-of-the-art technology. Coordination between state and local agencies and healthcare organizations are different due to the differences in necessity.
