Communication Paper How do people communicate? Provide examples of verbal and nonverbal communication. Communication is a crucial component of our life. This is because it enables one to express who he is and relate with other people well. Every time we communicate, we usually convey a message or exchange certain information to share needs, ideas, opinions, feelings, emotions, opinions, values, and experiences in life. Therefore, communication is more than listening and talking; it involves interpretation and understanding. There are different ways that people use to communicate. This includes the use of verbal and not- verbal communication, written communication, and visual communication. Verbal communication referred as the act of expressing one's thought through the use of words. Therefore, it is a spoken language. When speaking tone, pause, loudness, word choice, enunciation and emphasis are used to enhance spoken words. Some examples of verbal communication include face-to-face discussions, speeches, voicemail, telephone conversation, videos, seminars and recorded books. It also includes written words, for instance, faxes, letters,
