Baker, Don. 2020. “Religious Diversity in Korea”. Education about Asia 25: 5-10
Don Baker his Ph.D. in Korean history from the University of Washington and has taught at
UBC since 1987 and teaches Korean history and thought (religion, philosophy and pre-modern
science. His article speaks about the different religion in Korea as a whole and not as two
different countries. He explains how the religious sphere is different in Korea then other parts of
the world as the normal boundaries are not so existent which has allowed Korea to take a
different approach to the multiple religions in the region. He tells how most of the people do not
refer to themselves as being confined to one religion.
