Cross section of the steel beam  42m  M 0.5m >:  CONFIDENTIAL BMM/BMA/141511BMM3553  PART  A - Answer ALL  questions.  QUESTION 1 [35 Marks]  A 400 kg of hoisting drum is mounted at the end of a steel cantilever beam as shown in  Figure Qi.  The cantilever beam has a thickness of 0.2 m, width  0.5  m and length 2 m.  The wire rope is made of steel and has a diameter of 0.01 m and a suspended length of 3  m. Please note that the load that hanging at the end of the rope is 100 kg.  a) Develop the mathematical model representing the two degree of  (15 Marks)
