TSH acts upon the thyroid, which causes it to increase the production of thyroxin. Once the levels are restored back to normal no more TSH is released. Patient 1 is diagnosed primary Hypothyroidism. Some of the symptoms of this disorder are lethargy, sensitivity to cold, depression and some also experience weight gain.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
