According to Gina Sartirana in an article titled, Harassment and Cyberbullying as Crimes,
"Cyberbullying generally is an occurrence of youths whereas cyberstalking is generally an
occurrence of adults." (Sartirana, 2020)
Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok are the three social media outlets I have decided to go
with on this one.
Lets begin with Facebook shall we. A perfect example of cyberbullying would be the Latigo
case. According to the FBI website Hirberto Latigo used his ex-girlfriends nudes to coerce
her into being sexually intimate with him. Not only did he demand sex, but he would also
send threatening messages, and sent the nude photos to her male co-workers, and the
victims sister. He then took it even further by creating a Facebook page with very intimate
and personal information about the victim. Latigo was convicted for federal stalking, and
using the internet to generate tremendous emotional distress. He received 60 months in
