Surname 1 Name Professor Title Date [] Federalist Papers N0.23 In his first 22 publications, Publius argued that the “Articles of Federation” did not have the capability to preserve the union. In addition to that, he argues for the significance of the union. However, in Federalist 23 paper, he gives a series of fourteen papers that argue for the support of the necessity of the energetic federal government. In his argument, he states the two powerful governments that declared their independence from the Great Britain. The two governments were the State government and the Federal Government. The London Government was the majority holder of all the local governments, and the two governments had to get rid of them. In this publication, Hamilton (Publius) argues against the notion that the Federal Government would be similar to the British government that people were against them. It suffices to say that Publius’ argument that the Federal government would not be similar to the British Government had the primary aim of not only defending the American Government, but also defending the people of the United States from extra foreign aggression. The Federalist paper no. 23 consists of seven essays, each two papers long. The main address that Hamilton has is addressing the question of the way to best protect the American people against more foreign aggression than the British had done to the people. Essentially, the
