ATHLETIC CONFERENCES 2 The list of scandals associated with the college sports in the past decade has been detrimental to the extent where the front-page news often contains information concerning the corruption of college sports conferences and activities. The student-athletes engaging in college sports have been able to make billions of money to their universities and to the private companies sponsoring them yet they have not been able to acquire even a single cent for themselves (Riess, 2015). The situation has forced such students to gain money through illegal ways as a way to sustain themselves and even their families. Therefore, as a way to fix the adverse outcomes affecting participant of college sports, some civil rights activists sought ways in courts to cater for payment of the students taking part in sports.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
