INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC POLICY AND MANAGEMENT 2 The International Public Policy Management Program abbreviated as IPPAM offers a master plan in Public Policy and Management (MPPM) degree, which is designed for United States students working in the international setting and the global learners. The primary aim of the program is to help the successful career professionals with varied experiences in planning and management of cultural services and programs, the government, and non-profit making agencies that engage in the design. The master program aims to identify different public policy problems in the public areas and offer both the analytical and administrative expertise to boost critical thinking and problem answering techniques required in developing creative policy solutions and managing the programs. As a student in the US, my main reasons for applying for the program include gaining familiarity with primary hypothetical and systematic perspectives including debates on governance, management and public policy. The other reason is to gain the great understanding of the issues posed by the dynamics, diversities, interdependence, and appreciating the limits and potentials of general public action. By enrolling the masters’ plan, development of advanced managerial skills and advanced civil service systems is gained, the program also brings about high levels of analytical skills that meet the public policy-making demands and ability to allocate resources needed to apply these skills. The entire curriculum focuses on services in the social sector, which include protection of the environment, development of the community, health, education, urban planning and design and nonprofit management among others.
