Surname:1 Name Instructor Course Date The Perception of Loyalty Sarah Jewett writes a story titled “A White Heron” that is about a nine-year-old girl named Sylvia who traveled to Maine to live with her grandmother. One evening, she met a hunter who had visited the area in search of a white Heron. The hunter explains to her how he is willing to reward anyone who helps him locate the bird. The next morning Sylvia went into the woods to find the exact location of the heron so that she could show it to the hunter. However, she realized her affection for nature was too much that she questioned herself whether to disclose the heron’s location or not. Despite the reward, she made up her mind not to take part in bringing about the death of the bird. Eventually, the hunter departs Maine without the white heron and Sylvia contemplates whether the choice she made was better than the hunter’s money or not.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
