FOREIGN EDUCATION PHYSICIAN 2 The foreign-educated physician (FEP) program at Florida International University is the first nursing program in the nation that offers innovative and specialized a baccalaureate curriculum to both employed and unemployed nurses. The curriculum awards these nurses a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN), and hence they become recognized as registered nurses (Nichols and Davis, 2014). The primary objectives of this program are to prepare various professionals in the health sector and health leaders and providers who will deliver high quality and easily accessible care in the current global and technological surrounding. The curriculum design is organized in a manner that will allow those employed or involved in other activities to continue with their operations smoothly (Smith, 2011).
