NURSING 2 Quantitative Research: Nurse Exposure to Violence The paper gives a quantitative analysis on nurse exposure to sexual assault, bullying, and physical/non-physical viciousness. Therefore, an estimated amount on the rates of exposures by violence, setting, sample, source and the findings are provided in the paper. Reviews on collected works from various databases containing information on the challenges facing the nurses are summarized in the article. The studies conducted were aimed at providing the empirical results through nursing samples in the databases; the results would include the number of articles reviewed, the number of nurses exposed to the violence and the number of samples (Hahn, Muller and Needham, 2010). The research hypothesis was to find out the types of violence that the nurses were exposed to, exposure rates and the source of the violence (Hegney, Plank, and Parker, 2010). The articles leading to the results were from the database search and from consulting the reference list of the previously reviewed papers. The rates at which the nurses were exposed were recorded
