MARKETING 2 Promotional Activities Promotional activities are efficient strategies to attract new customers to a company’s event and increase the turnover regarding purchasing, participation and attendance of the existing clients. Getting the best crowd at an event involves determining the right audience, creating partnerships with other businesses, gathering as many individuals as possible, selecting a suitable location, one that is readily available with an ample parking among other factors. Another factor is staying connected with the crowd to receive feedbacks about the event and implement changes where necessary and lastly offering promotional activities that could draw larger crowds. The promotional activities that mainly attracted me to a particular event were the non- price efforts such as the giveaways, installment plans, easy return policies and providing guarantees. Other price-oriented efforts were discounts offered, rewarding customer loyalty, giving free trials, cross-selling and free shipping among others. These marketing activities resulted in increased customer buying frequency, client rates or volumes of spending increased and they aided in attracting newer customers. Therefore, promotions are considered the essential packages whose aims are to ensure that the organizations in charge of the events achieve their desired goals. These promotional activities used in the event had a broad range of connecting points, communication channels and high possibilities of attracting new crowds who were interested in the promotional offers. These activities encouraged customer loyalty, attracted customers by making their prices affordable, enabled clients to experience the product before they can purchase by giving free samples and offered upgrades to inform the client of the improved qualities of their products. Therefore, the event organizers tackled the challenge of getting scores
