HEALTH SYSTEMS 2 Healthcare delivery systems refer to the principal components of the hospitals and healthcare systems and the primary processes involved in enabling individuals to receive good health care. According to Fleury, issues such as shortages of staff and other health care resources such as persistent cost inflation and service delivery demands have led to the need for more efficient and effective use of limited resources via the integrated system delivery models (2006). These integrated health systems are well thought-out to provide exceptional performance regarding safety and quality due to consistent practices and efficient communication; however, these outcomes have not been validated fully (Kenney, 2012). Most developed countries have incorporated the use of national health insurance programs, which are operated by the governments and aided financially by taxes and revenues collected. Many citizens in such states and countries are eligible to receive health care amenities
