ANCIENT GREECE The ancient Greece was a civilization belonging to an era of the Greek history, which, lasted from the period between 8th to 6th centuries BC. The history of Greece in the Classical Antiquity was partitioned into stages that comprised of the archaic period, Classical era, Hellenistic, Roman Greece and the final one was the era of Christianization. The Greek culture had a powerful impact on the Roman Empire; the influence of the culture carried a description of it to various parts of Europe and the Mediterranean regions. Therefore, the Classical Greece culture is entirely considered a foundation of the modern Western culture, hence, led to the rise Western civilization (Martin, 2013). The worldviews and civilizations of the Mesopotamians and the Egyptians were similar, geographical location played a significant role in the development, organization and nature of their culture and arts.
