Each example is different in its own way but aids in supporting Percy’s point. Moving from one example to another is challenging as wellas moving from tourists to students. All of the examples Percy discusses support his points. Yet none of them are similar they can all be interpreted in a different way. When Percy discusses the Grand Canyon, he provides four different ways with his examples. The first is leaving the beaten track, Percy explains when going to the Grand Canyon you should avoid tourist sights and explore and look at the sight on your own. Looking at it from your own view instead of the provided tourist sites may provide a better outlook on the site.
