Martyr? You’ve got it. A case for the death penalty for Zacarias Moussaoui The recent sentencing of Zacarias Moussaoui to life in prison came as a disappointment to many Americans. He was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences, and will serve his time in a maximum security prison in Colorado. Although this man does indeed have a death wish, he has also participated in taking the lives of countless Americans, and deserves to die. He should be brought to justice, and should be killed as brutally as those murdered by him were killed. During his trial, Moussaoui made statements such as “I am al-Qaeda. They [my lawyers] do not represent me; they are Americans,” and he referred to President Bush as a “slave of satan” and to himself as a “slave of Allah.” During his hearings, Moussaoui expressed no remorse for his murderous actions; rather he displayed more of the same blatant hatred toward all Americans fueled by Islam, that eventually led to the attacks on September 11, 2001.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
