RELATED RATES PROJECT For this project you will write an original related rate problem with, preferably, a Thanksgiving theme. Your problem must be written and illustrated on a ¼ sheet of poster board (11 in. x 14 in.) with your solution written on the back of the poster. Your problem should utilize a mathematical relationship (Pythagorean theorem, cone, trig ratios, etc.) similar to the related rates problems that we have worked for homework. Your project will count as a major assignment. To get full credit, it should: 1) be creative, original, and entertaining 2) utilize a correct mathematical relationship 3) have a solution that is correctly and clearly presented 4) be neat and follow the instructions 5) be turned in during Calculus class on Tuesday, Nov. 29 If your poster is especially entertaining and attractive, you will earn a free practice check pass to use during the third six weeks. Your free practice check pass will allow you to not have to turn in one set of homework assignments. RELATED RATES PROJECT

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
