Discussion Spark WK2The country that I chose this week’s discussion spark is Russia. Many other countries were in awe of Russia. They knew the country existed but knew little about the country due to inadequate information from travelers that were scant in numbers. These other countries were amazed by Russia’s size that spanned Finland to Siberia. They also feared the Russia military because Russia was viewed as an imperial superpower.Russia’s social structure was austere and the citizens were divided into 14 different ranks that consisted of royals, aristocrats, bureaucrats, military officers and soldiers, industrial workingclass and agricultural working class to mention a few (Raiklin,2005). The population consisted of approximately 128 million people and the majority consisted of peasants and poor farmers.
