WINDOWS VS MAC OS2Windows vs Mac OSApple’s Mac OS and Microsoft Windows have both been around for some time now and both continue to make changes to “improve” their systems (Dougherty, 2010). When choosing a system, we often consult family and friends on their opinions. Doing some research on the two will help one to gain a better understanding and make an educated choice on which will best serve their needs. Both Windows and Mac OS have similar features such as Windows “task bar” and Mac OS’s “dock”. Windows uses the task bar and Mac OS uses the dock to access programsthat are used regularly. Another feature that both operating systems have that are named differently are “media center” for Windows and “front row” for Mac OS. Both of these systems do pretty much the same thing but have distinct differences. The media center by windows is more of an all-in-one program that allows the user to store and play back music, T.V. shows,
