When having to answer the question about what is the “self” , I immediately thought that one can't understand this concept unless they are able to comprehend the full understanding of who they are and what they believe in. When I left class after answering this question, I began to think deeper into this topic and wonder if I had even grasped this concept of self on my own. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I don’t have a clear idea of this concept at all. As I began my readings in What Should I Do with My Life , I became very interested in the different stories exposed. I found that the ideas presented by Choejor Dondup very amusing in that he is able to break down the concept of self and how it consists of “physical, feeling, perception, intention and consciousness” (Bronson 5). At first I wanted to question Dondup instantly for his breakdown of self because I didn’t think that one could draw this conclusion unless they have overcome obstacles to get to where they are in life.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
