Problemsin the development of personal, social, and sexual maturity. Current research in thepsychology of adolescence.Additional Course DescriptionThis course is designed for anyone interested in the field of youth development. This coursewill focus on developmental processes involved in the maturation of the individual intoadolescence. It will explore some of the issues concerning adolescents with a particularfocus on the role of nature (i.e., the genetic underpinning of behaviour, individualcharacteristics) and nurture (i.e., socio-contextual influences) in determiningdevelopmental change.
