Overview of material for exam 3 The arrangement of people on stage by the director to form interesting images is called stage pictures Business is the little things you do on stage to make you see busy, fiddling with your hair, interacting with a prop, etc. Blocking is where the people are supposed to be on stage and movement patterns for the entire play What’s the difference between a tech rehearsal and a dress rehearsal? Tech rehearsal is working in ques, lights, and technical elements. A dress rehearsal is a performance minus the audience. A preview is a small audience to gage how the audience reacts before opening night The analysis done by the director and cast during the first few rehearsals is table work Directors concept is how the director chooses to interpret a play and is what makes that particular performance different from previous ones What is the fourth wall? Proscenium: curtain, only one side that the audience can sit on, picture frame Thrust: audience sits on three sides

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
