I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate an understanding of heat and
temperature and the effects of heat to a body.
B. Performance
Standards Performance Standards The learners shall be able to:
1. Discuss the need and describe the result of a measurement, in
general;
2. Differentiate between the accuracy and precision of a
measurement;
3. Point out possible sources of errors in a measurement; and 4.
Carry out a measurement and report the results correctly.
C. Learning
Competencies/Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learners:
1. Explain the need for measurements;
2. Describe how to carry out measurements of length, mass, and
volume; and
3.Dfferentiate between precision and accuracy
