Professional CareerProfessional Career PlanProfessional career plans begin by knowing where you want to go in the next five years. Discussing and planning my professional goals and what occupation I plan to have in the health care field, will guide me in a promising career. I will consider the skills that I currently have and the talents that I need to adjust. I will also exhibit the steps that are needed in order to reach thesegoals. There are many ways that specialists look at in order to accomplish their goals. My career goals are as follows: I will finish my degree in health care management. I would like to volunteerin a management setting to get some experience in that position. Once I have gotten more experience in volunteer roles, I would like to shadow someone in that role for a month. Finally after training and shadowing a person in my desired position, my career of choice is a business manager or practice administrator of a clinic in oncology. My job objective is to work for the my current employer, government, or a private practice. I love to work for health and human facilities, specializing in policies and techniques. I believe that precautionary care begins with education of health specialists and their staff so that they can educate their patients. Health administrators have flexible appeal which is contingent on the opportunity of the health institute. I decided to focus in the management of health so I can present thinking and to support implementation of programs for patients. In the past I had no knowledge what made health administrators on a daily basis. I have always said that if I was a manager I would, but you do not know what to expect until you have actually been in that position. Recognizing the job depiction was very overwhelming and knew I needed more skills to have a career in health administration. The job I am currently holding is a Patient Financial Counselor. I held several positions within the health care from coder, medical biller, poster, counselor, and explanation of benefit 2
