Louis played on the steamboat called the Steamboat Capital. The Fate Marable orchestra A group that Louis Armstrong played in o Fate marable o Pops Foster o Dave Jones o Johnny St. Cyr o Johnny Dodds o Joe Howard o Louis Armstrong Frankie and Johnny o The only record of the Fate marable Orchestra which was recorded by OKeh records. o Recorded 3/16/1924 in NOLA o The style of this record was ragtime Usually when it says syncopation, it is usually ragtime King Oliver’s Creole Jazz band (1923-1924) NOLA Jazz style Dippermouth Blues
