Therefore, the Silk Roads served as the center of world trade and cultural institutions throughout the project.During 200 BC to 1450 CE, the Silk Road was one of the largest trade networks centered on the buying and selling of consumer goods. There was a constant supply of merchants, traders, travelers, and mercenaries across the whole whole spreading new ideas, religion, items, and cultural across all of Asia, Europe, and Northern Africa between 200 BC to 1450 CE. Some of the most prominent cities at the time like Xi’an, Quanzhou, and Constantinople were stationed along the trade route because of the great supply of wealth and culture it provided.
