Logan Johnson 15 Oct 2007 Daisies and Perfection Perfume can make or break a girl and the first impression that she gives to others. That being said, a girl must choose a scent that embodies her, one that with one simple whiff as a man passes by will give a glimpse into her mind, body, and soul. So a girl must choose wisely. If she chooses a fruity scent, he will think that she is sweet. A spicy smell will make her seem more seductive. And flowers invoke a special thought. He will most likely think of carefree and innocence with a soft flowery scent. This is exactly what Marc Jacobs is telling his audience through his ad for his Daisy perfume. The combinations of elements, colors, and character all draw a reader to wanting this perfume and being like this girl, and to become as happy as she looks. The first thing that I notice as I look at this ad is the name of the perfume. Daisy. A simple flower that makes me think of Alice in Wonderland. At the beginning of the movie, Alice lies down in a field and lets the flowers overtake her and give her company. She begins to sing to them, saying, “All the flowers/Would have very extra special
