Hi, In paying tribute to the working across the country this labor day holiday in my weekly Presidential address I am reminded of how resilient and flexible the working people of the United States are. Society continues to benefit from the working person that in recent years has had to deal with the sub prime Mortgage crisis and meltdown beginning in 2007 which was responsible for causing the labor market to lose 8.4 million jobs or 6.4% of payrolled employees, followed by several banks closing their doors, followed by the US. government bailing out several top US. banks followed by several municipalities across the US. declaring bankruptcy, followed by the US. Federal reserve's quantum easing program while the US. has been involved in a war on terrorism in several countries. During the great recession people in the labor force have had to accept a cut in pay, a reduction in work hours or become an involuntary part-time worker. On a positive note as a result of this
