COM120 In the lecture you were reminded to consider the audience when you are creating and presenting material. For our first discussion board post, you need to consider your audience and write a well written paragraph about who you are and what you hope to gain from this speech class. You can share your concerns as well. I think that is a great career you are pursuing. Knowing myself I know I wouldn’t make it as a detective. That’s why I’m glad everyone in the world is different and we all have different specialties. I sometimes freeze up too when I give speeches in front of large crowds. Someone once told me that I can reduce that by finding one person in the crowd and concentrate on that one person while I give my speech. I find this to be helpful sometimes but other times I find it difficult. But the best way I’ve learned to stop freezing up so much is from experience. Once you get use to giving speeches more and more in front of large crowds it will become easier for
