Chapter 1: Introduction
1.1 Background
NGOs play a significant role within the individual society. A larger number of NGOs are
present in the UK. Those NGOs have been working for numerous aspects which include
eradication of poverty, protection of the environment, and providing health and nutrition. It is
important for the individual country to maintain proper equality and avoid the discrimination
in an accurate way.
Apart from that handling homeless people and giving accurate life to them is important.
NGOs can easily improve the working ability of the homeless people so that they can
improve their working ability and life style in the long run ( Cordery, Belal and Thomson,
2019 ). Here in this project, all the detailed aspects have been portrayed about the NGOs and
the accurate importance of the NGOs to maintain the lifestyle of the homeless people. It has
analysed all the detailed information of the NGOs within the UK ( Agussani and Akrim,
2020 ). Proper identification of the way that has been used by the NGOs to manage all the
complications and handles the status of the homeless people accordingly. Accurate
information within the UK has been analysed through this research work accordingly.
1.2 Research aim
The primary aim of the research is to identify the importance of the NGOs in the uplifting the
status of the homeless people.
1.3 Research objectives
● To identify the concept of the NGOs
● To analyse the importance of the NGOs in managing the status of homeless people
● To identify the importance of the websites for NGOs while managing the status of
homeless people
● To scrutinise the issues that have been faced by the NGO in managing the status of
homeless people
● To demonstrate the recommendations that can be marked as the strategies to reduce
the issues that have been faced by the NGO in managing the status of homeless
people
