The car wash business which is conducted by a section of the university staff and students has been earning

low profits, losing more customers thus bringing the business down. Consecutively, the relevant officials have initiated a promotion project that aims at bringing the car wash to its initial glory while attracting, even more, customers. It has also been noted that a majority of the university staff, students and visitors own cars but seem to find the cleaning services from other car washes other than from the university car wash. The car wash project team has agreesd that a promotion project has to be initiated for a time period of two months. Competition in the car wash services in the region has intensified where more and more companies have opened offering similar services. The promotion project aims at creating awarenss of the improved car wash services at the university. Some of its objectives are to be viewed as a premium car wash and detail services in the university and the surrounding, maintain a high gross margin and growing profit margin. The project also aims at offering services on contract basisto company and individual cars to become the region’s premier vehicle cleaning destination. Among the events that will be included in the promotion are engaging in public events which will give them a chance to interact and get a closer relationship with the customers in order to inform them on the advanced services that they offer at the car wash.
