Health Care Interview Ifeakam Ogwu 2 As generations change and life goes on, access to Healthcare has changed as well. I interviewed 2 different people and also took into account my own personal experience with healthcare between my two children. The first person I will speak about is my husband’s grandmother Monica Smallwood (I had interviewed her for another class before she passed away), who was a War Bride from England. She told me when she was in England she went from a small town general practice who did all their medical needs including minor surgeries…”it was like the BBC show doc martin, and our GP was blunt like him as well” (M.M.Smallwood, personal interview, Jan 2009). She remembered once she got across the pond she got a job with the United Steel Worker union as a canner and her company provided healthcare through Blue cross blue shield. “I saw $5 dollars coming out of my check every pay and had the best coverage possible for a war veteran and 2 children” (M.M. Smallwood, personal interview, Jan 2009), was her remark when I asked her
