It is often presumed that student athletes have inferior GPA's, because of the amount
of time they spend away from their classes, to competing and completing the work
load they already have. A survey used to help understand if the average GPA of
student athletes is higher or the same as non-athletes. This research will inspect the
difference between college athletes and non-athletes GPA after the transition from
high school to college. A t-test will be used to assess the difference between the GPAs
of athletes and non-athletes GPA.
