The opportunity or strategy provided by CCU that will be the most beneficial in helping me
maximize my time and money would be the scholarships and grants for adult students. This is
because receiving scholarships will help to prevent me from having to take any sort of gaps due
to school costs since I will not have to pull out any or as many student loans due to applying and
being granted scholarships then I will not have to pay as much out of pocket to stay in school.
To meet the eligibility requirements for this strategy I will need to thoroughly read each
scholarship opportunity to see what needs will need to be met. One of the grants that caught
my eye is the TEACH grant. For this specific grant, the requirements I will need to complete are
to sign a “TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve and Respond” request and to complete a TEACH
grant counseling session.
