Many different delegates attended todiscuss the issues of the Articles of Confederation. These delegates consisted of federalists andanti-federalists. This meeting led to the writing of the Constitution, which provided threebranches of government and divided congress into two houses, both of which would berepresented according to population. It controls the relationship between the states and thepeople. The Constitution also protected the right and freedom of the people. It created the firstamendment which addressed issues related to religion.In my opinion, the Convention was important to create the United States Constitution.And some of these topics from the convention are still used today. It provides stability to thecountry and prevents any corruption using the system of Checks and Balances. It prevents any ofthe other branches from gaining dominance.
