After taking the INCA survey, I realized that I do have a clear understanding of
communication and culture. I do believe I effectively handle cultural diversity due
to my military experience and was married to someone from a different culture as
well.
After conducting this self-assessment, I received the results I expected because
I’m very self-aware. As far as communicative awareness, I scored high because I
am cognizant of others and the energy surrounding me. With knowledge
discovery I scored high, mainly because I am very open to the idea of learning
something different and changing. I am not opposed to cultural differences;
however, I did assume that Mr. Wang could assist with his issue. My respect for
others scored high, because I believe that respect is given when it is received. As
far as expressing empathy, I assessed in the median, because I didn’t agree with
inviting someone into a group of friends without informing my friends first, also I
don’t believe in accepting not understanding anything. Finally, with behavioral
